Lip Sync Battle

This past September, Spartan Waste represented the community and our company with philanthropic and theatrical skills in the 2nd annual Spartanburg Lip Sync Battle. Owners Mark Mullen and Mark Nelson took the stage as “The Soul Men” and gave the performance of a lifetime. This event, in collaboration with the Charles Lea Center, allowed our owners to rock the mic while also contributing to fundraising efforts. The Charles Lea Foundation’s mission is to offer assistance and improve the quality of life for those with disabilities and special needs. There were 12 incredible acts of all different types of groups and solo artists dedicated to philanthropic efforts benefiting the Spartanburg community.

The event, in total, raised over $760,000 for the Charles Lea Foundation. Mark Mullen and Mark Nelson enjoyed singing and dancing the night away on stage while raising money for such a great cause. As the night unfolded, it became evident that the winners were not solely those who took home the trophies, but rather the entire community. With each donation and expression of support, we reaffirmed our commitment to standing together and fostering a brighter future for our community. We were honored to have Spartan Waste contribute to this event and loved seeing the “Soul Men” and other community organizations rock the night away on stage! As we reflected on the event’s success, we were reminded that when we come together with purpose and passion, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

We are proud supporters of our local community and the Charles Lea Foundation! If you would like to sign up for Spartan Waste and see us rock waste services even better than the mic, sign up at www.spartan-waste.com or call (864)-573-0123 today!
